VLOOKUP FUNCTION IN MICROSOFT EXCEL VLOOKUP FUNCTION STANDS FOR VERTICAL LOOKUP. It looks for a value in the leftmost column of a table. It has four components: 1. VALUE - The value you want to lookup from your table. 2. RANGE- The range in which you want to find the value. 3. COLUMN NUMBER- The number of column within your defined range, that contains the return value. 4.
